A Little About Me (and Why I Love Being a Family Photographer in San Antonio)

As a family photographer in San Antonio the past couple of years- and for a decade in total- there are unforgettable client moments that still stick with me. There’s something really special about freezing a moment that you know will never happen quite the same way again.

• The way your child reaches for your hand without thinking.
• The way your partner looks at you when you’re both laughing.
• The chaos, the quiet, the in-between moments that somehow become everything later.

Hi, I’m Christina- and if you’re here, chances are you’re thinking about capturing a season of your life that matters.

For a long time, I thought I would go into nursing or family counseling. I’ve always loved working with people, listening to their stories, and helping them feel seen. Photography found me in a different way- but it gave me all of that, plus a creative outlet I didn’t even realize I needed.

Now, I get to do something I truly love: document real connection.

 What Matters Most to Me During a Session

As a mom myself, I know how important photos become over time.

They’re not just for now- they’re for your walls, your albums, your kids when they’re older, your family who lives far away. They’re the memories you revisit again and again.

But I also know the stress that can come before a session:

• What do we wear?
• What if the kids don’t cooperate?
• What if it feels awkward?
• What if it doesn’t turn out how we hoped?

That’s where I come in.

My goal isn’t just to deliver beautiful images- it’s to make the experience feel easy, natural, and even fun. I’ll guide you every step of the way, from choosing a location around San Antonio, Cibolo, Schertz, or nearby, to helping you with outfits through a styling guide, to gently directing you into poses that feel like you.

And in between all of that?
We laugh. A lot.

My Approach

My style is warm, light, and airy with a growing love for earthy tones and natural textures. I’m drawn to soft light, real emotion, and the little in-between moments that often end up meaning the most.

I’ve spent years working with families of all kinds, kids of all ages, and couples in every stage of life. I’ve also invested in specific training focused on natural, comfortable posing- so you’re never left wondering what to do with your hands or how to stand.

Whether we’re:

• Chasing golden hour light at a local park like Brackenridge
• Capturing quiet moments during an in-home newborn session
• Or documenting a growing family during maternity photos

I’m there to guide you while still letting your story unfold naturally.

What a Session Looks Like

It usually starts simple- a quick call, text, or email to connect.

We’ll choose a location together, talk through your vision, and I’ll send over a styling guide to make outfit planning easy. From there, I’ll take care of the details so you can focus on just showing up and being present with your people.

Because the best photos don’t come from perfection.
They come from connection.

Why I Do This

I do this for the moms who want to remember this season- even the messy, beautiful, imperfect parts.

I do this for the couples who want to slow down and reconnect, even if just for an hour.

And I do this because these moments matter more than we realize while we’re in them.
